🎶 Programs by Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice

In-person and virtual adult program for libraries, senior communities, and other organizations. Discover two captivating programs that celebrate the golden era of rock 'n' roll and its iconic figures.

Program 1: The Voice That Rocked America, Dick Biondi and the History of Chicago Radio.
Discover the history of Chicago rock and roll and radio through the extraordinary career of Dick Biondi, one of the 20th century’s most influential broadcasters. In the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, Hall of Fame DJ Dick Biondi introduced rock and roll to teens in Chicago and nationwide, debuted the Beatles in the U.S. and promoted icons like Elvis, the Rolling Stones, and Chicago’s own legendary bands.

Filmmaker Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice is the perfect person to tell Biondi’s story—she grew up listening to him on a transistor radio under her pillow, started a fan club in his honor, and remained his close friend through the years. With exclusive rights from Biondi himself, she brings to life The Voice That Rocked America, a heartfelt soon-to-be-released documentary exploring his life and his pivotal role in pop radio history. Join Pamela for exclusive interviews with radio legends and music icons, offering a behind-the-scenes look and insider stories that define Dick Biondi's legacy as a true rock n' roll pioneer.

The Voice That Rocked America has been presented at many Chicago area libraries, theaters, museums, and senior communities. This program includes a prevue of the film, a Dick Biondi memorabilia table, and lively conversation, bringing back happy memories for seniors.

Program 2: The Beat That Changed the World, A musical journey through the early years of rock ‘n’ roll
Trace the roots of rock music and its cultural revolution from the 1940s to the 1970s, featuring iconic artists like Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Chuck Berry, Elvis, The Beatles, and legendary Chicago bands: Chicago, The Buckinghams, and Ides of March.

🎶 A multimedia experience with audio, visuals, nostalgia, & audience engagement.
